Stereotypes are so last century - they’ve been collecting cobwebs and pushing up daisies for some time. Thankfully, making assumptions about people and what they’re capable of based on what country they hail from, their skin colour, the bathroom they visit, or what industry they work in is a thing of the past - well, in theory anyway.

We’re obviously aware that we need the right people for the job, but we’re also mindful that having a good mix of people from all walks of life will give us a broader perspective base for all our decision making. We're in a better position to ensure bias doesn't cloud or direct our thinking. And with the pace at which technology develops, diversity couldn’t be more essential.
The tech sector is one of the biggest industries in the world and is clearly one of the most important moving forward too. So it’s no wonder that more and more women are looking to make a career in the industry. Sadly, too many women have been overlooked for certain positions or have been entirely dissuaded from entering into the industry in the first place. Shame.
At Tradify, that will never be the case. Our most recent hires include Emma, our Chief Revenue Officer, adding awesome value to our executive team, Veronika and Anna as QAs in our dev team, plus Vanessa driving all sorts of improvements as a business analyst. We’re not just doing this for show either, we hired purely on talent, and these four stood head-and-shoulders above the rest. We’ll be profiling each of them in weeks to come, so keep an eye out.
