Digital Marketing Manager

So we need a passionate, experienced, metrics-driven Digital Marketing Manager to focus on creating and capturing demand using a variety of digital channels. You’ll be primarily responsible for driving demand generation in the form of qualified trials. We’re looking for someone who’s a pro at managing and optimising digital channel performance, identifying and testing new lead gen opportunities and challenging the status quo.  You’ll have great hustle, be able to make things happen fast and thrive on the challenge of improving the ROI on our digital marketing investments.

In a typical day, you might:

  • Kick off the morning with a coffee and a marketing team stand-up where you share what you’re working on, your latest results vs targets and what your planning to test next.

  • Work with the team to develop new messaging for your next iteration of Google and Facebook ads.

  • Talk to a colleague about a landing page A/B test targeting UK leads.

  • Check on review site, paid search and App store performance and make any adjustments required to further optimise performance. 

  • Spend time crunching numbers in excel to figure out the expected ROI of a new digital campaign you’re recommending we implement.

  • Grab a quick coffee from our office machine, and a snack from one of the great nearby food joints (or the office snack drawer). It’s time to refuel! 

  • Get creative with the broader team to brainstorm new campaign ideas to drive 10% more qualified trials next month. 

  • Present the results of last week’s paid advertising activities, and share recommendations to increase next week’s numbers in the weekly team meeting. 

  • Share a recommendation about priority website enhancements you recommend we implement to drive improved conversion.

 

You’re going to love this job if you:

  • Have at least 3 years of digital demand generation experience in a performance marketing and/or digital marketing role.

  • Have a deep understanding and experience in digital lead generation and conversion rate optimisation.

  • Thrive on implementing, managing and optimising the performance of a variety of digital channels, including but not limited to websites, Paid Search , Review Sites, App Stores, Facebook etc, to drive global demand generation.

  • Have hands-on experience using tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Playstore, Facebook etc

  • Have a track record of innovation and marketing experimentation, with clear examples of truly unique ways you’ve successfully driven digital demand.

  • Are an analytical thinker with experience in campaign reporting, A/B testing design and analysis.

  • Like testing different messaging, tactics, strategies and approaches and rigorously track the performance to measure ROI and CAC. You’ll be excited to constantly improve effectiveness and ROI.

  • Can demonstrate your skills at building productive cross-functional relationships and collaborating to identify opportunities for growth.

We’re a team of over 30 friendly & diverse people who work and play hard, but we’re growing rapidly, and this role is going to grow too. You’ll report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with a wider team of designers,  engineers, and the sales team. You’ll be a key member of a flat team where everyone shares the same purpose and pitches in as needed.
