Marketing Director

So we need a new super-smart, passionate and experienced individual to lead our Marketing team. Someone who wants to focus on making a massive difference in the business and daily lives of an awesome and hugely underserved market. Basically this means driving the businesses growth aspirations through innovative and effective marketing practices.

  • Kick off the morning with coffee and a catch-up with a diverse range of team members.
  • Meet with the LT to discuss company marketing strategy & tactics
  • Run a daily stand up with the marketing team
  • Have a chat with the sales & support teams about lead quality and acquisition channels
  • Provide 1:1 coaching, feedback and development for your team members
  • Go deep on a new marketing initiative, scoping requirements, building out a plan and analysing its success against defined business metrics.

You’re going to love this job if you have:

  • Over seven years experience in a performance marketing and/or content marketing role
  • Extensive experience of a leading edge SaaS company and practices.
  • A great understanding website optimisation, SEO and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership and team management experience, with a passion for coaching.
  • A deep understanding and experience in lead generation and conversion rate optimisation
  • Enjoy exploring and testing new or improved ways to hit business metrics through multiple channels.
  • A passion for branding and communications, with a creative way of thinking
  • Are highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Believe that tradies do important work and that supporting them to success is an awesome job.
  • Want to do work that improves other people’s lives, but also believe it should be fun.

We’re a team of over 30 friendly & diverse people who work and play hard, but we’re growing rapidly, and this role is going to grow too. You’ll report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, but beyond that you’ll be working across a flat team where everyone shares in the same purpose and pitches in as needed.
