Customer Sales Champion

In order for us to do this, we need an excellent Customer Sales Champion who puts the success of our customers above everything else. Your number one priority will be to grow Tradify by acquiring new customers and to enable, empower and help our customers achieve success. You will be passionate about helping others using world-class tech, able to communicate and build a strong rapport with all sorts of different people, and be ready to assist with the wide range of ‘jobs to be done’ that Tradies are looking for us to do.

Not only will you be on the frontline, helping Tradify hit growth goals, but you’ll be making a measurable difference in the lives of thousands of tradies across the world by aligning your success with your customer’s success.

Your most important tasks will be to empathetically engage with our customers and trialists, answering their questions, solving their problems, championing their needs and just do whatever it takes to make them successful. You’ll need to follow established sales processes, as well as actively work to improve processes and suggest new ideas.

If you thrive on variety, communication, and helping people succeed, and you know that having fun and working together are key to a great work environment, you’re gonna fit right in. In a typical day, you might:

  • Run an online live demo for a group of trialists, where you dive into Tradify and show attendees exactly how they can use it in their own business.
  • Answer emails and texts from trialists and help them with their issues.
  • Get on the phone with new trialists to understand their business, what their needs are, what are they looking to solve and whether Tradify is the right solution for them or not.
  • Check-in with several customers to see how they’re getting on.
  • Have a sales meeting with the rest of the team at one of the awesome cafes.
  • Kick the CEOs ass at a game of darts on our office dartboard.
  • Get stuck into a thorny problem a customer is having and help them figure out a solution.
  • Enjoy a slice of cake with the team to celebrate our latest growth milestone.
  • Collaborate with the creative peeps in the marketing team to shoot a new onboarding video.
  • Get on the road to attend massive conference / trade shows with over 1000 attendees or a country-wide multi-city roadshow across Australasia.

You’re going to love this job if you:

  • Have 1-2 years experience in a sales role and can demonstrate a talent and desire to help customers succeed.
  • Are highly empathetic, and can relate to people from all walks of life.
  • Love to find ways to make technology understandable and relatable. Many of the people you’ll be talking to are great at what they do but not with the tools you’re helping them understand.
  • Are highly organised with great attention to detail, as you’ll need to follow established sales processes and juggle lots of different tasks.
  • Have “the gift of the gab” – you need excellent written and verbal communications skills, as you’ll chatting with customers and trialists all day via phone, email, and SMS.
  • Thrive in a great team environment where everyone is friendly, smart, and driven.
  • Believe that tradies do important work and that supporting them to do their work better is an awesome thing to be a part of.
  • Have a creative streak and love finding new ways to connect with customers.
  • Want to do work that improves other people’s lives, but also believe it should be fun.
  • Have impeccable taste in chocolate, cake, or beer.

We’re a team of over 30 friendly & diverse people who work and play hard, but we’re growing rapidly, and this role is going to grow too. You’ll report to the Head of Customer Sales, but beyond that you’ll be working across a flat team where everyone shares in the same purpose and pitches in as needed.
