Data & Insights Analyst

We need a super-smart, passionate and experienced individual to become our Commercial Data Analyst. Someone who wants to focus on making a massive difference in the business and daily lives of an awesome and hugely underserved market. Basically this means owning how we track key data across the business and our digital touch-points, and deliver accurate and valuable metrics and insights to various teams.

Not only will you be providing the data analysis required to allow key strategic decision making, you’ll also be proactively working across multiple business units to identify future opportunities and challenges. If you thrive on ingenious thinking, a relentless pursuit on turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions, you’re going to fit right in. In a typical day, you might do some of the following:

  • Kick off the morning with coffee and a catch-up with a diverse range of team members
  • Meet with the Leadership team to present the findings and insights of your recent priority and work with the CEO and Leadership team to build & analyse board reports
  • Catch up with the Marketing team to analyse marketing campaigns, tactics and results
  • Have a chat with the Sales & Support teams about conversion rates across multiple acquisition channels
  • Sync with the Engineering team to discuss data collection
  • Have a 1:1 with the Chief Revenue Officer to present insights across the business and identify any potential headwinds or performance optimisation opportunities

 

 

You’re going to love this job if you have:

  • Over five years experience in a data analyst/ business intelligence specialist role in the web or digital space
  • Great commercial nous to understand the context and impact of the data and insights you generate
  • Extensive experience of a leading edge SaaS company and practices
  • A great ability to challenge data to form independent insights
  • A passion for working across multiple business units from C-suite, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and Customer Success
  • A deep understanding and experience in lead generation analysis and conversion rate optimisation
  • Ability to take our reporting capabilities to the next level whilst monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify business improvements
  • Enjoy  testing and validating new or ways to hit business metrics through multiple channels
  • A passion for growth and seeing the business succeed
  • Are highly motivated with a strong, autonomous work ethic
  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Believe that tradies do important work and that supporting them to success is an awesome job
  • Want to do work that improves other people’s lives, but also believe it should be fun

We’re a team of over 30 friendly & diverse people who work and play hard, but we’re growing rapidly, and this role is going to grow too. You’ll report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, but beyond that you’ll be working closely with the CTO and the entire Go To Market team.
